site still not imported

    Hi, yesterday I created another site for my client called elbosquecabanassp and it was banned due to policies, but after explaining it was a spanish site, they released it. It still hasn’t completely imported (it’s not a large site) and wondered if that had held it up somehow. Can you please finish the import, since I actually have new changes (need to RE import it) and can’t wait much longer to do that.

    It’s irrelevant which language any site is on. Here’s what gets a free hosted WordPress.COM blog in any language suspended:

    If it violates the Terms of Services there is no requirement at all that any backup be provided let alone that it provided at the beck and call of the violator or anyone they hired to work for them, who failed to read the Terms of Service and comply with them. If as a courtesy a brief window of opportunity to recover the content is provided then that’s it. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up.     Wow. No need to be so hostile. I couldn’t find any reason why the site would’ve been flagged and this was the email I got back from support on it:

    Hi there,

    Your site was flagged by our automated anti-spam controls. We have reviewed your site and removed the suspension notice.

    Please be sure to clear your browser’s cache and restart the browser (if necessary).

    First of all, timethief was not being hostile, but simply being frank. She has no access to TOS procedures or records, and was just telling you how it works.

    In this case, it sounds like your site ran afoul of our automated system that we have in place to stop spam. Sometimes there are false positives, however. When someone like yourself gets caught up in the system, it’s entirely unintentional, but it does happen from time to time, and we’re very sorry for the inconvenience.

    Your blog is now in good standing with us. I checked on the import and it looks like the importer got stuck, so I have manually reset it for you. You should be able to try your import again.
