Hi everybody. My english isn’t so good (I’m from Spain) so I trie to doing my best. I made this account, “gamerfilosofo”, because my other site is suspended (ithan87). I know the cause, so I’m apologice because I upload copys about games in that account; I know that it is forbidden, but I love my blog (ithan87) and I’ll recuperate. I wrote an email to the Wordress’support but they didn’t answer me…how can I recuperate my old account? Please, I need it. I’ll modificated it when this account is open, promise.
You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.
This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you’ll find help at the WordPress.org forums.
If you don’t understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.
If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It’ll help people to answer your question.
This is an automated message.
In your dashboard, in the message, is a link so you can directly contact the Terms of Service department. Use that link to contact them. They will not discuss suspensions here in the forums.
Thanks thesacredpath, but how? because my other account is suspended and if I want to send they an email using that link, I can’t because that account isnt’e operative.
You should be able to log into that account and go to the dashboard so that you can respond to the message.
I’ll repeat: I can’t login with my other account because it’s suspended. I tried to log in, but it’s impossible. It’s a message like this “site suspended” and I can’t login with my old account so I can’t contact with the WordPress’support.
Then this is the first time they have blocked access to the dashboard of an account.
Use the standard contact form then and include the blog url and the username.
You can’t blog on the blog, but unless they’ve changed a pattern of six years, you can get to the dashboard of the blog and on it you’ll see the warning and click the link.
@raincoaster if they’ve suspended the actual account, that would rank as pretty serious.
It also would not be the first time that someone could not figure out how to log into their account unless they were on the front page of their blog. We have a regular stream of people that change the Widgets and when the Meta Widget goes away so does their log-in – not knowing they can log-in here then go to their Dashboard.
To make sure if that account or only the blog has been suspended, log out of the “gamerfilosofo” account, then copypaste this address into the address bar of your browser and hit enter:
No, this definitely isn’t the first time they’ve blocked dashboard access. The ‘site suspended’ message the OP is talking about shows up after you attempt to log in: (here’s a screenshot). In this situation you you can’t log in or access the dashboard at all. You have to fill in the support form while logged out, or under a new username.
