Hi! I was just wondering if it would be possible to add the Bloglovin’ icon for social links! I know a lot of people use it, but it does not seem to be in your available icon list! Thank you for your consideration!
The blog I need help with is pjsandstuff.wordpress.com.
As staff @bdukes said in this thread
“The one workaround I can think of for now is to add a static image badge to your site using HTML. Here is the quick one I just wrote up: https://cloudup.com/ioYdWjVYQjy
<a target="_blank" href="https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/YOUR-BLOG-LINK" class="blsdk-follow"><img src="http://www.bloglovin.com/images/box-128.png" width="64" /><p>Follow Me on Bloglovin'</p></a>
You will want to replace the text inside the href with your own Bloglovin’ link
They have two versions of their logo at the bottom of this page: http://www.bloglovin.com/en/widgets
You may also be able to create your own “Follow Me” buttons as long as they comply with the Bloglovin’ trademark policy.
For those of you who want the official Bloglovin’ badge here is another code snippet:
<a target="_blank" href="https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/YOUR-BLOG-LINK" class="blsdk-follow"><img src="http://en.support.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/bloglovin_follow_badge.png" width="64" /><p>Follow Me on Bloglovin'</p></a>
Hope that helps.
I’ve opened a request to have that icon added to the Social Icons widget.
The thread you linked to was regarding adding the Bloglovin widget to a site. The OP’s request is regarding the social icons widget they have added to their site’s footer.
I want to establish the link between my blog and bloglovin in a way that my new blogs figure in the newsletter and my profile on bloglovin too,
any idea how i can make that?
Please don’t post into old threads with unrelated questions. You can start your own thread if you need help here:
Bloglovin’ adds new blogs automatically based on the blog’s RSS feed, but you can claim a blog there by verifying to Bloglovin that it’s yours. We featured the process in a blog post a few years ago, and as far as I know that process is still valid:
For more help with this, though, please contact Bloglovin’ support directly, as it’s a completely separate service from WordPress.com and we have no control over how things work on their end.
