    Hello
Sorry to post this again but the forums are not very good when it comes to searching previous questions one has already asked.

So I want to have at the header of my WP blog buttons that lead to my twitter and Facebook pages and others. How do I do this? I have added the widgets to the right using the Widgets capability, but I want buttons at the top
    thanks

Have you purchased an annually renewable custom design upgrade so you can do the required CSS editing?

Then I’ll flag this thread so it’s moved to the CSS Forum where you can get help with this.

I can’t see any Twitter or Facebook buttons in the sidebar at http://gourmandj.com/ Did you remove them?

I have added the Facebook and Twitter widgets to the sidebar but I still don’t know how to add the buttons to the top of my page.
By the way the Facebook widget is not working, I believe the entire Facebook integration thing for Facebook Pages is still work in progress, I have encountered many errors and when trying to link Facebook to other social media it always asks me to revert back to my personal Facebook page, which I don’t want to link to my blogs activity.

You can manually try to style the BG of icons to display FB logo or twitter logo. Then use

    text-indent:-99999;

    to hide the text.

Another question, is it not possible to twitter, Facebook, etc. to automatically send a tweet or a writing on the wall, etc. when I publish a new post?

I have added the Facebook and Twitter widgets to the sidebar but I still don’t know how to add the buttons to the top of my page.

Ah, the widgets are separate. I misunderstood and thought you mean you added Facebook and Twitter buttons to your sidebar already.

First, you need to create a widget on your Appearance → Widgets page with the Facebook and Twitter buttons you’d like to use in your designs. Look around online to find the images you’d like to use, upload the images to your media library, and then add the images using some HTML in a text widget or using the image widget.

Once you have uploaded the images you would like to use, reply back and I will take a look at what you have and help you with some CSS to move the buttons to the top of your site.

That’s possible. You can set that up through the Settings → Sharing page using the Publicize section at the top. See this help page for details and screeshots showing how to set it up:

    Thanks DesignSimply

I have added the two images on the right. Now I need to move them to the top. I have linked each image to the appropriate page already.

As fas as publicize, this is not working. The Facebook link only works with my personal Facebook page, which I am not interested in using. I want my new posts to appear in the timeline of my business page,
