    How do I move the share buttons from the bottom of the page to the top of each page?

    The blog I need help with is soshitech.com.

    The site linked to your username, http://soshitech.com/ , is set to private so we cannot see it. Can you temporarily select the middle option (public but block search engines) so that we can take a look?

    Yes sir

    Go ahead and take a look.

    This is a little messy to do on the theme you are using and the one thing you have to be aware of is that position absolute has to be used for moving the sharing stuff and that means it will not float with the rest of the content if the title should happen to go to two or three lines. In that case, the title is going to run all over the sharing buttons.

    .entry-content {
    position: relative;
    }

    div.sharedaddy {
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
    width: 98%;

    div.pd-rating {
    margin-top: 100px;
    }

    Is there anyone way too move this above the title? or have the sharing buttons on the front page running down the left side of each post?

    Thank you for your help thus far.

    Try this then to move it above the title.

    .single .post {
    position: relative;
    }

    div.sharedaddy {
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
    width: 98%;
    }

    .post {
    padding-top: 90px;
    }

    The problem is, most people read a post before liking it, and putting the sharing stuff before the post title means they will have to scroll back up to the top to be able to share or like the post. That is why social media sharing icons are always at the bottom of a post.

    Works perfectly. Great stuff. One more question. How do I remove the wordpress “Like this post” option with the star next to it?

    You can either enable or disable the “like” button. No CSS editing required. http://en.support.wordpress.com/likes/

    Both of you have been a load of help. Thank you.

    You are welcome.

    One more question.

    What is the difference from hosting my website on soshitech.wordpress.com and soshitech.com ?

    Right now my domain is soshitech.com but inside my dashboard is soshitech.wordpress.com

    I am curious if I may be missing out on some extra features here.

    Thanks.

    Your domain name is mapped to your wordpress.COM blog here. All that means is that when someone visits your site, they will see your wordpress.com blog but with your own domain name instead of blog.wordpress.com. Domain mapping does not bestow any super powers.

    Hi! I have sharing buttons on my blog that I installed with a widget— but how do I put them in to each post?

    My blog is http://writeandgetpaid.wordpress.com/. Thanks!

    Hey TimeThief– thanks for the reply… found what I needed on another thread. Can you delete that request— I do not see a way to do that? Thanks, Denise
