There is something going on with WordPress.
Things noticed,
1. This website itself. (Image attached below)
2. No site icon visible for the Dashboard.
3. Can’t reply to the comments in wp-admin.
3. No visible icons in the editor (dashboard) (image attached)These are the once noticed for now, will update if anything more comes.
Seems it’s a browser related problem, I think.
Hi there,
What browser are you using where you’re seeing these issues? Also, is it the most updated version of the browser?
Hi there, thanks for the quick reply.
I’m using Opera. Tried on different installations, but nothing seems fine here. Started noticing these bugs, a few minutes before I posted it. There wasn’t any recent updates, so, I don’t think it has something to do with it. The problem still exists.
Some of the WordPress blogs, which has heavy themes are also not loading correctly.
But none of these, happens when I uses firefox.
Hi there,
I downloaded Opera and visited the same address as the images provided and had no problems on my end. I am on a Mac however, so I do not know if this is potentially a PC only issue.
This may be a cache issue. Have you tried logging in using a different browser or clearing your browser’s cache?
Nope, that won’r work. Tried everything at my end. Cleared cache, uninstalled & installed, again & again, but nothing works.
And the most notable thing is that, it’s only happens with WordPress Sites & WordPress Blogs. All other major/minor sites are rendering fine.
I’m attaching a screenshot of a blog I viewed just now. It’s using Libre2 theme. And it’s a mess at my end.
Most probably it’s a browser related issue, but it’s only happening with WordPress. Was there any new update with WordPress, with theme edits (html & css)?
First, please make sure that Opera is up to date: https://help.opera.com/en/opera-tutorials/how-do-i-update-my-opera-browser/
If it is, please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: https://help.opera.com/en/how-to-clear-browser-cache-history-cookies/
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled: https://help.opera.com/en/latest/customization/#extensions
3. Try your your browser’s ad blocker switched off: https://help.opera.com/en/opera-tutorials/turn-on-operas-ad-blocker/
4. Try with your browser’s VPN switched off: https://help.opera.com/en/opera-tutorials/how-to-turn-on-vpn-in-opera/
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which version of Opera you’re using if you’re still having trouble.
Finally, everything is working fine for now. Don’t know what the exact problem was, (something script related, I think) but after a couple of clean installations it’s working good as it is. (Will mark as resolved after 2-3 runs.)
Thanks darnelldibbles & https://en.forums.wordpress.com/users/macmanx/ for the valuable comments.
Hello.
I also have this issue on the dashboard. I just updated my browser (Opera on Windows 7) and I don’t have access to other machines and browsers.@charlybosseshere do you want to try the steps @aryanjali tried, as well as the ones @macmanx suggested?

@charlybosseshere just as an update here, while a few of us were able to install Opera and not duplicate the problem, one of our other colleagues did see issues earlier today and now doe not.
Is it working for you now?
What’is opera?
It is an internet browser. Similar to Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.
