Spam showing up when others access my blog
When someone accesses my blog spam shows up on my blog in their window but it isn’t on my blog how can this be stopped and /or deleted?
The blog I need help with is timetales.wordpress.com.
What exact;y do you mean by spam? Can you have one of your visitors take a screenshot so we can examine it? Is it possible that what your visitors are viewing that you cannot view is advertising?
WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all. The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.
Thanks i remember reading that you sometimes put advertising on the blogs i have known problem with that, but having never seen it and then having it appear on another computer i didn’t know what was going on, so now i know. The only thing i see is having not seen it and having it be something I’m totally against advertising gives me concern, but it seem’s your ethics are in the right place and you are offering me a free blog . Since I’m new to all this what i call spam is anything that s put on my blog that i didn’t O.K. but i may be wrong. Thanks for quickly resolving the issue.
