There are actually several questions I have about this one and I’ve looked everywhere I can see to look first for the answers but cannot find them.
On the example for this theme it had a colorful display as a “Tag Cloud” in the footer but it seems in the actual theme it doesn’t allow for a footer for widgets. Also, when you put the tag cloud in the side bar it is not colorful and you do not have the ability to make it so.
I also thought I had messed this up and tried to reload it but once I have it, now I cannot find it in the search on the Theme showcase nor in any category like random or A-Z. What happened to it?
I have one last one and that is in the theme options I tired to select a color for the ribbon mistakenly when thinking I could get the tag colors to change and now that I have selected it, I can’t get it unselected not even when selecting the option for letting the theme make the decision.
The blog I need help with is psychpoet.wordpress.com.
It is not a real footer widget but part of the theme’s design:
Dashboard—>Appearance—>Theme Options—>Tag Cloud—>remove check next to
“No thanks! I’d rather not have the Spectrum tag cloud in my blog footer. “
omg the clouds are extra thick in the mind today. As you can tell in previous entry I completely read different words when reading that! I don’t know how that happens actually. Well I do but I’m not tellin.
You are welcome!
Not my business, but why did you switch from the Imbalance Theme? I thought it looked very nice; course I may be prejudiced because that’s the one I’m using.
I didn’t switch. It’s a different blog. I have several. I was only referring to the big D and ADHD in those clouds I was referring to. If you know what I mean by those.
BTW how do you get your posts on the Imbalance one to arrange in relationship to each other or does the theme just pick that? Mine seem to align all nice and linear but then mine don’t have pictures.
This is a Spectrum thread but here you go.
Imbalance 2 offers two layout options, fluid and fixed.
Fluid means the width changes according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.
Fixed means the width does not change according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.
Column one is the blog title and tagline; you edit them in Settings > General.
Columns two and three are for two menus; you create and load them in Appearance > Menus – instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
Column four is for widgets; you add them in Appearance > Widgets.
For four columns of posts you go to Appearance > Theme Options and make sure the fixed layout option is selected.
For four columns in the header area, you need to create and activate two custom menus.
