  1. Is SQL or PHP relevant to blogs or the installation, where is not the server for your blog?

    Basically I'm confused as to what SQL has to do with a wordpress blog; how it is utilized in this context.

  2. Everything that you enter into a blog - .ORG or .COM - is stored in the SQL database (posts, pages, links, categories, tags, and a whole host of other things related to the blog).

    PHP script (and some javascript) is what wordpress software - .ORG and .COM - are written in, as are virtually all themes.

  3. If you have a blog, however, you never need to worry about either. It's all stored by on their servers and you have no access to the php files. If you have a blog, then you have to deal with those things yourself.
