At the time of posting, it’s the 24th in Australia at the moment, so I’m getting big fat errors whenever I try to access WP.com via HTTPS. Staff have said that there is no security risk in those expired certificates, but if it’s a nuisance for your readers it’s a problem for WordPress.com, I would certainly think.
