Static home page and Blog?

  Is it possible to not have the blog page as the home page? I want a static home page to welcome visitors and the blog page to appear later in the menu. Any help gratefully received!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi dramaticartstudio,

  From the menu on the left, choose “Customize” under the heading Personalize. This should load the WordPress.com Customizer. On the left, choose “Homepage Settings”. This should give you an option to choose between “your latest posts” and “a static page”, as long as your theme supports it.
