stats not shwoing correctly

On stats the columns are not showing. If I hover over a date at the correct height then a message pops up to tell me how many hits etc but nothing shows as a column. If I hover over a date at the wrong height e.g. 20 when I’ve had 10 hits then nothing shows. I first noticed this problem a few days ago. The same problem presents in Chrome and IE9

The blog I need help with is exiledtyke.wordpress.com.

Having same problem as described above, except that I can get it to work in Firefox. I do not use IE, so I do not know about that. But in Chrome, the latest version, 23.0.1271.64 m, the bars of the graph do not show up in either stat view (stat page, nor dashboard stats). I have emptied my cash, cleared my cookies, heck I even went to the kitchen and ate a few cookies, but it still doesn’t work.

The bars, I should mention, do show up on my mobile phone’s browser, Google’s HTC Incredible.

Could you send us a screenshot of the page where you’re seeing this? You can upload the screenshot to your blog’s media library.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Kardotim, sorry, I had forgotten to click notify when I posted that last message, so I just now saw your post. I have saved two jpeg files to my blog’s media library, stats-screen-shot.jpg and dashboard-stats.jpg, so that you can see it looks the same (background grid, but no bars) on both the Stats page and the Dashboard.

    Stats page: http://dadpoet.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/stats-screen-shot.jpg

    Dashboard: http://dadpoet.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/dashboard-stats.jpg

Again, as Kyle said above, when I hover over the places where each days bar should be I do get a floating numerical stat, but I cannot see it at a glance. I’ve been checking it on my mobile app to get the weekly overview, since I cannot see it here.

    Thanks!
    David

Hi David, me again – I was able to view your stats in the latest version of Chrome. Just checking, do you have any Chrome extensions enabled? If you do, could you try enabling and disabling them one-by-one?

Could you please check if there are any errors displayed in the Javascript console in Chrome (View > Developer > Javascript Console)? If you could open that and upload a screenshot of what you see there, it would be great.

Jenia the wrench isn’t available to go there.

Jenia, I tried what you said. I had about five Google Chrome extensions running. The only one I really “need” is the facebook ticker remover. :) I disabled them one by one, checking my stats on the dash board and stats page each time, refreshing after each was disabled. But no difference.
It says Google Chrome is up to date: Version 23.0.1271.64 m

Jenia, I read what you were asking of exiledtyke, and I’m not sure if this was what you meant, but I do appear to be finding Java script errors. Here are screenshots with the console:

I took two shots of the stats so you could read the whole page (wasn’t quite figuring out how else to get the sizing right).

And one of the stats as they appear on the Dashboard:

Our developer was able to get to the root cause of stats not showing up in the latest version of Chrome, and posted a workaround for adventurous users here (please read the warning, too).

Until Google fixes this issue in Chrome, there are unfortunately only two solutions for users who are experiencing this issue: either change the flags as suggested in the thread linked above, or use a different browser to view stats.

mine is doing the same – my stats show when I enter through the dashboard – although the cars are not showing.

When I first log in and click the link to stats nothing happens just the loading symbol going round and round.

    Thanks

Hi there. Are you using the latest version of Chrome as your browser? Have you tried alternative browsers, such as Firefox? If your stats show up in Firefox but not in Chrome, this link gives a workaround for forcing your stats appear in Chrome: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/why-are-there-no-bars-in-my-stats-window/page/2?replies=35#post-1078692

Thank you. That fix actually worked perfectly. Sorry it took me so long to try it.
