Feedback is closed today, otherwise I would have done that already.
I’d like to clarify: This forum is titled “Ideas — Ideas and suggestions for WP.com”. Am I to infer by your second comment that suggestions would be more likely to have action taken on them if they were submitted via feedback instead of this forum?
If so, then why does this forum solicit suggestions? I’m not trying to be difficult, just trying to understand and send my suggestions to the place where it will do the most good. :)
To be honest I was kind of dropping the hint that you should have followed up on one of those threads instead of opening up a new one. :)
But to answer your question, the volenteers here in the forums suggest that method as we don’t see staff around here that often. That way they are sure to see your idea. Also staff themselves have noted that they keep track of what’s suggested via that method.
What staff says in a title description made years ago and what’s reality around is is two different things. ;)
