    Hi, I was hoping someone could help me.
    I’ve been trying to piece together the CSS to achieve the above with no luck.
    I would like to remove the tags/category from the bottom of posts (including the home page) but leave the date and comment count.
    There is CSS for the Suits Theme around but it gets rid of the comment count and I can’t figure out how to adjust it.
    The website is http://www.thatcareergirl.com
    Thank you

    The blog I need help with is thatcareergirl.com.

    You know, at first I thought this was going to have no solution, but some fancy footwork with attribute selectors and I managed to do it. Add the following at Appearance > Customize > CSS (after deleting the informational text) and see what you think. Make sure and look at category pages as well as single post pages and the main page to make sure nothing goes awry on them.

    a[rel="tag"], a[rel="category tag"] {
        display: none;
    }
    .entry-meta {
        color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
        letter-spacing: -10;
    }
    .entry-meta .on-date {
        float: left;
        margin-right: 5px;
        margin-left: -18px;
    }
    .entry-meta a[title^="Comment"] {
        float: left;
    }
    .entry-meta .on-date a:after {
        content: ",";
    }

    Hi, thanks so much for giving it a go.

    It’s showing 3 characters at the bottom of each post now, the first two are slightly overlapped. I can’t really make it out, but for example on my most recent post it says ‘C5’ with the C overlapped. I’m guessing it’s the ‘5’ from ‘5 comments’.

    When I copy and paste it in to here, this is how it shows up:

    , and tagged , , , , , , , , on February 7, 2014. 5 Comments Edit

    Hi there, I just pasted the above code into your Customizer and it looked as it should, but when I viewed your site outside the customizer, I saw everything stacked up (the two views did not agree). I’ve fixed that in the code and added one more bit to float the edit link to the right. Only you see the edit link, not your visitors. I left the code in your customizer and saved it. Take a look at your site and see what you think.

    Oh my gosh!
    You’re an absolute genius, thank you so much!
    Something tells me I would have not been able to do that!

    You are welcome, and CSS is just like everything, the more you work with it the more you learn and the more you can do. Keep at it and you will get there.
