    Hi there,

    I’m brand new to CSS and have tried reading tutorials etc but I still can’t figure out what I know should be reasonably simple.

    All I want to do is increase the width of my main column to 900px, whilst keeping the sidebar the current size. I would like the header to also move in proportion with this change (eg for it to sit as it does now, but obviously it will need to shift as the width changes).

    Can anybody help me out with the code I need to insert into my CSS Stylesheet?

    The blog in question is http://helloaileen.wordpress.com

    Much appreciated!

    The blog I need help with is helloaileen.wordpress.com.

    To expand the main content column by 70px to 900px and also keep the sidebar at the same width in the Blaskan theme, add this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:

    .sidebars #wrapper,
    .content-wide #wrapper {
    	width: 1190px;
    }

    .content-wide #content {
    	width: 900px;
    }

    I just re-read the title, which mentions Sundance. It looks like you changed themes after posting your question and I answered it based on your new theme.
