    I’m using Firefox 25 and I see space between the tabs. That said there no free way to do what you want to do. See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable custom and CSS editing:

    I am using the twenty ten theme.

    If one of the CSS’s work, where do I copy & paste the code?

    Thanks!

    I don’t help with CSS editing. I’ll have this thread moved to the CSS Forum for you so you get the help you need.

    @nwrservices, you can add left and right padding by adding the following CSS and then adjusting the 10px value. The first value is the top/bottom padding (0) and the second is the left/right. Go to Appearance > Custom Design, click on the “Preview for Free” button in the CSS module on right. Delete the informational text and paste in the following and you can play with the 10px value to see the results. To be able to apply that CSS change to your site, you would need to purchase the Custom Design upgrade.

    #access a {
        padding: 0 10px;
    }
