tables not working properly in firefox and IE. Also, Ads?
all the sudden I’m getting feedback that the photos in my tables are butting into the side bar. It’s like that on all posts that have tables. Not having the same problem in Chrome which is the browser I actually work in.
Also, unrelated but something I noticed while looking at the blog in firefox (but again, not in chrome)–there are ads at the bottom of most of the posts. I did NOT put ads in my posts, why are they there? This is incredibly not cool. Did I miss something that wordpress is now just putting ads where they feel like it? because if this is the case I am not happy about it.
The blog I need help with is kernelsandseeds.com.
re: advertising on free hosted wordpress.com blogs
WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade. WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all.
The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.
I don’t have time to search your blog for posts with tables in them. I’m multitasking from my business and supervising while I answer questions here. Will you please post active links to posts where we can see examples of this table issue.
Ok on the ads front. I guess I never noticed it because like you said, i’m always logged in. Annoying but understandable.
Here are a couple of links for posts with tables:
