  I would like to take ownership of a specific site that hasn’t been used since 2007.
  Is there anyway that the site can be recovered so that I can use it for my own blogging purposes?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Contact the blog owner on your own and convince them to give / sell you the domain name, WordPress.COM will not take a site away from a blogger for non-use
