Tempera: site title settings override my CSS :(
-
Hi, total newb, sorry.
I updated the tempera site title font to Verdana. When I use this custom CSS for the tagline, the settings override the CSS:
#site-description {
font-size: 30px !important;
font-family: ‘Cookie’, sans-serif;
}Thanks so much for your help.

That’s NOT a blog hosted by WordPress.COM. We provide support only for blogs being hosted WordPress.COM and not for WordPress.ORG software installs. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of some themes with same names. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

FWIW, it looks like it’s working to me. I checked http://scrubstore.org/ and here’s what I see: https://cloudup.com/cWx5X2yTHIl
Note that in order for someone to see the “Cookie” font, they will need to have it installed it on their computer. You might like this article about font stacks:
