Template: Twenty Eleven; Change Default search box in header area

  1. Hi,
    I'm trying to removed and then replace the Global Search box feature that appears in the header area of my default template. Once I remove the search box, I would thne like to replace that with my company logo in the same area. I'm using the Twenty Eleven template. I have the Custom Design upgrade. Does anyone know how I might do that?

    The blog I need help with is

  2. To remove it you need to use this CSS:

    #branding #searchform {

    I'm not entirely sure how to add your company logo, but this should give you a good start point

  3. @andrewjhayward: Just to let you know that not everything that works on works at as well. Perhaps some basic CSS will work the same on most themes, but anything beyond that (like PHP editing) simply cannot be done on

  4. Thanks airodyssey, it took me a while to realise the difference between the functionality of the .org and .com when I first started out.

    I can confirm that both the code I posted above and this:

    #branding {
    border-top: 2px solid #bbb;
    padding-bottom: 10px;
    position: relative;
    z-index: 2;
    background: #eee url( no-repeat;

    from the other thread both work in custom design :)
