Templates that support social media icons

    Hi there,

I’m currently using Mystique because I love the social media icons it offers at the top right of the page. I would love to see this design (or something similar) on more templates, as it looks extremely professional and is much easier than adding Facebook badges, Twitter follow button, etc. Did I mention it looks so much better?

Is there a way for me to know which templates offer this option? Please consider adding it to others! I love a lot of the other templates but can’t bring myself to use them without this feature.

    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is encouragethought.org.

There is a live demo site here that you can use to search for themes that meet your approval http://theme.wordpress.com/

I don’t like templates the in your face woo hoo! look at my social networking icons mom buttons like the ones on Mystique at all. Did I mention I don’t think they project a professional appearance and don’t consider them to be suitable for many business and professional blogs?Enabling sharing buttons on our posts takes seconds and only has to be done once. I like that. :) [/opinion]

Here’s a list of themes that come with a built-in social media icons feature (and how to add them manually to virtually any theme as well)

{red-faced] I completely forgot it. :( Bookmarking again.

    No problem ;-)

Thank you airodyssey! I really appreciate it – I think this is the answer to my prayers, although I’m a little confused as to what it means:

Insert a text widget containing links to your social networks. The sample code below will turn like the icons above (but you’d better upload the images to your blog via Media > Add New and use the URLs you’ll get).

I know how to insert text widgets but I’m unsure of what uploading images has to do with it… can anyone explain this to me?

    Thank you!!!

    You’re welcome.

You can copy and paste the exact code given on that page. However, it is recommended to save the icons, then upload them to your media library, because the URLs for each icon may change (which is not the case if you upload them to your media library).
