Text in my posts are not lining up. They line up to the right of some of the photos.
-
In looking at some of my older posts, the text paragraphs appear to the right of some photos, when all the paragraphs should be flush left. I tried to move all the text so that it lines up on the left side of the post and then I have clicked ‘update’, but it goes back to the way it was, all over the place. Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

See: https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/
Alignment
Align Left https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#alignment
Align Center https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#alignment
Align Right https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#alignmentAlign-left means position left, with the rest of the content wrapping around the right side of the image.
Align-right means position right, with the rest of the content wrapping around the left side of the image.
Align-center means position center, with no wrap-around (= the rest of the content below the image).
If the text beside the images does not occupy the same amount of space that the image beside it does then the text wrapping will continue and the images and text that follow will have a staggered appearance.
To prevent the staggered effect what you do is insert the following snippet of code into the Text (HTML) editor after each image/text pair:
<div style=”clear:both;”></div>

This is unrelated to the issue you posted for help with.
You are using a very old retired theme and themes are retired when they no longer support all wordpress.COM features. The recommendation is to switch to a newer theme.
We have a preview function. No content is lost when switching themes on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. It does not matter if the site is private or public.
Provided you are logged in as Admin under the username account that registered the site go to https://wordpress.com/themes and type in your key words, or the name of theme.
See here for newer free three column themes https://wordpress.com/themes/free?s=Three
If you are not logged in under the correct WordPress.COM username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account
If you did not register the site and do not have the required access you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it and have them either act, or transfer the site to your username account by using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
re: switching themes
Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs.
Note that switching themes https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/#switch-themes can be easily done, provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the site, you tohttp://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php
*Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog. wp-admin/themes.php
The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.

Thank you so much for both responses, timetheif! I am just about to switch my theme soon, but I thought I had to update all the problem posts first. Also, I thought I had done this years ago, so it was discouraging to see that I needed to do this again. I figured once you had your posts done just right, they would never change. This will be the second time they’ve needed changes.
Earlier today, Before I saw your responses, I went back in and reposted all my photos in one of the problem posts and that took care of the wrapping text problem, but it’s good to know that changing my theme will be a better fix and answer. Thank you again!
