Text in posts not saved and not posted

    Hello! I’m new to wordpress and I’m completely unable to post a post. I’ve tried:

    1. Copying the post I typed from Microsoft Word into wordpress
    2. Re-typing the entire post
    3. Saving draft before publishing the post, and not saving at all.
    4. Adding tags, and not adding tags
    5. Stared at settings and tried to find something related (nothing related, all my content is public, just the way I want it to be)

    After I publish the post, the post title appears, but no content does. There’s no gap, there’s no text that appears only if I highlight it.

    I do have several images that I have been dragging and dropping into the entry, but I haven’t tried importing it the “proper” way. I read that I could drag and drop photos as it was a feature of WordPress.

    Please help!! I’ve been working on this for hours, to no avail. D: I would be immensely grateful!

    Hi!
    I see that you are a 2 hour old wordpress.com blogger. My suggestion is that you work your way through this tutorial so you will learn some basics about how to use this blogging platform:

    Hello! Thank you so much for the link! I’ve read through that and all the related posts, they have been very helpful.

    I tried copying little chunks of my blog post into the entry box and clicking preview after each insertion to narrow down what the problem was. Turns out I had to click on the “insert photo” icon before dragging and dropping photos, not drag and drop photos directly into the entry box.

    Hope the above helps anyone who might have gotten lost like me!
