The contents of the sidebars went under the posts! Help please

  1. Please take a look at and tell me why are the widgets went at the bottom?

  2. I tried it. The posts individually do not show this problem. On the main page though... still does it.

  3. W3C validator will not even validate your site, which means there is a big issue with one of your posts.

First, go to settings > writing and select "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically" and then click "save changes."

The go to settings > reading and make sure under "Encoding for pages and feeds" it says UTF-8. If it doesn't then change it and click "save changes" at the bottom of the page.

Next go to settings > reading and set your blog to display only one post per page, then click "save changes" at the bottom of the page, and then go through them one at a time using the "previous post" button at the bottom of the page and see which post or posts are causing the problem. Once you have found the posts causing the problem, open that post or posts, make one minor change (such as adding a space and then deleting it) and then resave the post (update).

That should hopefully fix the issue.

  4. You...
    You are goooood.
    The first trick did it.

  5. You're very welcome. I think wordpress should have that "on" by default. It can sure prevent a lot of issues.

  6. Thanks. I also benefited from this thread.

  7. You're welcome.

  8. Thank you. I encountered the problem and with your tips, i solved it!

  9. Me too! Thank you!

  10. You're both very welcome.
