The Journalist Archive Display
-
Just switched from MistyLook to The Journalist theme and loving it. Added PAGES widget and noticed the ARCHIVES page doesn’t display properly towards the bottom http://shimworld.wordpress.com/archives/
Also, can someone help with the CSS code required to increase the white space between the photo and gray borders?
On top of this, is it possible to retain the drop shadow effect that MistyLook theme has a default? I tried applying the codes discussed here (sunburntkamel) but to no avail

the most of your links are coded <h4> until the ones at the bottom which are paragraphed with <p> just change the paragraph codes to match the other or use line breaks

Good catch, particles!
As for the drop shadow effect on the images – the element is different. Instead of .entry img, if you use img, it will affect all of the images on the site (including those in the sidebar). If you use .main img, it will affect the un-linked images in the post area. (So far, I haven’t identified how to change the linked images in the post area.)

I don’t understand this part of the question. Can you point out exactly where the photo is butting up against a gray border?

vivianpage,
I make this observation as I can see the gray rectangles are loaded first before the images so I figured this “white space” that’s visible between the image and the border can be increased (I see this in FireFox 3).

I still don’t know what you are referring to. You need to be more specific. What border are you referring to? I’m using FF 3.0.3 and I don’t see a gray border anywhere in that theme.

It’s the border that surrounds each of my unlinked images. The linked images have what appears to be a greenish-blue border that changes to red when moused-over. These borders aren’t part of my images.

OK, I see what you are talking about. As I mentioned above, the element that deals with the unlinked images is .main img. If you look at your CSS, you will see the padding. Change that to what you want it to be.
