The post I was working on does not appear in the revision section

    I lost the post I was working on about twenty minutes ago. I had put a lot of work into it, and did not press ‘delete’ on anything, it just disappeared. It was about 1500 words. I have gone to revisions and it is not there. I thought it was meant to save every two minutes, but it only has a copy of one draft I saved last night. I had been working on this for hours so I do not understand how it could have just disappeared.

    Did you create it using the WordPress start page or the New Post button on the admin bar? Sadly, autosave appears not to work with those.

    While our investigation is on-going, I’d like to get some information from you to help us try to narrow this down.

    So it sounds like you were posting in Newdash. This is the “front page” that many users refer to:!/post/

    How long did it take for you to write the content? An hour? About 45 minutes? 20 minutes? Any kind of ballpark figure will help us out!

    While you were writing, did you navigate away from the page?

    While you were writing, did you switch to a different active browser screen (say you had multiple tabs open)?

    Thank you for any clarifying details you can provide. And again – I am very sorry. We look forward to chasing this down and making sure it doesn’t keep happening.
