Themes compatible in IE and Chrome?

    Hi
I’m new to the forums and was wondering if anyone could perhaps recommend some themes which are compatible across all browsers? I have had a quick look in the forums already and see that a lot of the answers given require a knowledge of coding, which I really do not have! I am running a free wordpress blog for work so I have simply just selected a theme from there and not created my own. The problem I have encountered is that I have to edit and view the blog entirely in Firefox. Chrome and IE just completely throw the formatting and it looks like gibberish across the page.

My workplace is running IE9. I am told by a colleague on another site which is running IE6 and 7 that the blog views absolutely fine. So it seems that it’s not that the browser is too old, but rather that it is too new!!

I have just tried changing the theme from Crafty to Penscratch as it’s more clean lines rather than colours and pictures, but to no avail.

The link to my blog is https://librarymph.wordpress.com/

    Please can anyone help?

And I apologise again for my complete lack of knowledge of computer coding.

Also I can’t for the life of me see which version of WordPress I am using…

    Thank you!

    Jess

The blog I need help with is librarymph.wordpress.com.
