Why can’t someone put an unfollow button on the subscription page? I having been going around and around for more than 3/4r’s of an hour on this site without getting any help at all. The WordPress website needs less words to be read and an email support form so that a user can contact them for help. To me it seems that they are hiding behind a brick wall. Frankly there is NO support!

The blog I need help with is artinnatureblog.wordpress.com.

Wading and wading thru pages and pages of support text does NOT help me when I just simply want to REVERSE an unfollow on the Subscription Page. This place miffs me no end for you can never email the support department for there is NO support. Frankly you are on your own and good luck to you if you have any problems for there’s NO one you can contact.

If your are on the blog in question:
Click the button to follow a blog.
Click the same button to unfollow.
Then if you made a mistake click the same button to follow again.

If your unsubscribe from a blog by clicking the “x” next to the URL here http://wordpress.com/following/edit/ then you can simply type the URL in again to follow it.

On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/

The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also on the bottom of your Admin page.

See here for how to follow and how to unfollow blogs http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/

I agree there is no support. I don’t even have a technical problem I want to upgrade my account and can not find a live person to talk to about upgrading.

    @vsteele9
I disagree. Every person answering questions here is a living human being. To suggest otherwise is silly. More to the point is the fact that bloggers are writers and writers can follow written instructions. Exactly what do you need to know about upgrades that not found in the support docs?

Please post your questions here and I will gladly answer them.

Insulting me by saying I can not read really doesn’t help.

You very well know when anyone says a live person, does not say you are not human. It means live via phone. ……..

P.S. There is no phone support here. We provide written instructions.

I agree– there is no support!

You had to wait 10 minutes for a response to your other thread.
    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/there-is-no-support?replies=14#post-1544669
The normal and expected turnaround time on any blogging support forum for a first response is 12 – 24 hours. We tend to do much better than that here. Also note that posting into more than one thread on any issue can cause your question to fall through the cracks. Please return to your original thread and post only into it on that issue.

Thank you Timethief for your help and kind wishes. As for me “A Newbie” I find it hard to want to use the site, because I don’t even know where the Admin Page is for instance and one has to be very committed to want to use the site, because you need to read thru pages and pages before you can even get what you want to do done.

As A Newbie I would like to see shorter paragraphs and more buttons up front. This is a fast paced world and so I don’t have the amount of time to be reading and reading and reading before I get anywhere. I would say that many of the pages need to be edited to make sure there’s some brevity to them and more focused pages on one issue and not everything included on one page.
On the main page there should also be more headers than just “Forums, Themes, Support, News and Features” and drop down links below. How about in that area at least a title called “Help” and then categories under that where one can find their own help. An unfollow and a follow button should also be on the

      Subscription page

. I was horrified to find that somehow Unsuscribe or unfollow in red was listed there beside some blogs I wanted to follow and I didn’t see anyway there to correct that. It sent me into an irritated and angry panic whereby I just wanted to quit. If there is

      an action

on one page there should be

      a reverse action

    on the

      same

    page.

I do know that this site is not an easy one to use for much of the info is buried and I have designed websites so I know what I’m talking about. Use a total newbie and ask them to use your site and then you can note what the difficulties are to using your site. Not every Newbie cares about “News”, “Themes” or “Features” off the bat so I think those headers should be renamed to “Getting Started”, “Blogs”, “Forums”, “Help”, “Features” etc. etc.. A Total Newbie working with an attentive Webmaster would make your site far better than it is now for it appears rather “mysterious and buried” to me.
I hope those who own the site will take these comments to heart and treat them NOT as a personal attack, but to help them to design something better and easier to use. If they do that they will have MORE people willing to visit and use the site translating into better business success. My comments are only meant to help everyone and anyone that cares!

Hmm, it seems that I can NOT edit my original post so that is why it is here twice….sorry about that but it’s not my fault for there’s no “I want to take that comment back” button on here that I can see of. But I might be wrong for I’m a Newbie here.

There is no such button, because people were abusing it and using it to fake people out. Don’t worry about it.
