Third-party ad hyperlinks
-
How do I delete third-party hyperlinks? When other people open my blog, certain words appear highlighted and underlined such as “relationship” and they have somehow been made into hyperlinks to sites like Match.com.
I didn’t set these up or give anyone access to my site. Is this something WordPress allows advertisers to do? Is it a security breach I can fix on the dashboard and if so, how? Or, is this a bigger security issue I need to report to WordPress.
Answers and suggestions most welcome. Thank you.

The blog I need help with is victorianandedwardian.wordpress.com.
Have those who told you this all of their browser add-ons and extensions?
WordPress.com does not use text enhance or text link ads. So fare everyone who has reporeted this has had a browser-add-on or browser extension that causes it. In some cases it was enbedded into free games they downlaoded from the internet.
Yikes! I forgot the most important word above in that senetence.
Have those who told you this disabled all of their browser add-ons and extensions?
Hi Timetheif and thank you!
I will check with the people who’ve reported this to me.
Much appreciated.
Anytime I’ve ever seen this it was a result of some kind of malware or adware that the PC user wasn’t aware of. Sometimes the bug was installed as part of a toolbar. Security scans can usually find it.
