This is not my username, and I cannot find the site I set up
-
the username in the top bar is not mine! Although, it is evidently associated with my correct email address, which I provided instead of username in order to reset my password and log in. And, I cannot “find” the site I set up in June. Please help!
Blog url: http://susanhilllong.com
The blog I need help with is susanhilllong.com.
The blog is not lost. It’s here > http://susanhilllong.com/ and it’s an empty blog devoid of any blogger created content. You deleted the Hello World placeholder post http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ and as soon as you publish a post, not a page the 404 (page not found) error message will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
thank you; however when I go there, I see: Oops! This link appears to be broken. Do you have any idea why my username has changed?
No I don’t and I have flagged this thread for Staff assistance.
when I go to the link for the url, I do see the name, and “proudly powered by wordpress.” when I click on the name, it takes me to a broken link. when I click on “proudly powered by wordpress” it takes me to wordpress.org (instead of wordpress.com) ?
Hey there,
http://susanhilllong.com/ is a self-hosted, WordPress.org blog.
You don’t have any WordPress.com blogs associated with your account here.
Are you perhaps confusing your WordPress.org blog at http://susanhilllong.com/ with your WordPress.com account?
You can read more about the differences here:
