Hi, i would like my web page to have 3 columns showing text/images left to right – I can see that the page settings offers me the the three column page template, but upon selecting this – the page still has a linear layout with items stacked downwards (not 3 across as I want), this is in the “organization” theme and the theme definitely supportS this function – I am just struggling to get it TO work, any guidance would be appreciated.

The page in question is as per below:

    Hi @pgtstudentsgeosciences.

The three column template that is offered in the Organization theme isn’t referring to setting up three columns of text inside the page content.

    From the theme information:

In addition to the Home Page Template, Organization offers … and a Three Column Template for displaying a sidebar on each side of your content.

Choosing the three column template is telling your site to add a second sidebar on the left side of the page, so the columns are now like this:

    widgets — content — widgets

You can set up columns in your content using HTML. There is a good explanation of how to do this on the “Advanced HTML” support page under the “Columns” heading.

If you are on a Business plan (and thus have the ability to install plugins) there are also plugins that can help you to create columns in your content.

If you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask. We are happy to help!
