Thumbnails in Hatch theme don't display

Hi WordPress team. I cannot see thumbnails in the “Hatch” theme. Grey boxes appear where there should be thumbnail photos. You can click into them to see the image, but they don’t appear otherwise. Thank you for your help!

i think you need to set the picture as a featured image … do this in the edit mode for the post.
i am new here but i think that is it as i had the same problem until i figured it out. hope it works ! >>> Gina
