How do i change the time zone? My site thinks it is 3 hours ahead of my location (I am EST). Thanks

Hi there,
You can reset your date and timezone.

The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General. There you select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu and then click “save changes”.

Then go to > Dashboard > Posts > All Posts
hover over the title of your post and click the “edit” link.

Click the Edit link in the Publish module and you will be able to change the datestamp and timestamp on posts you have already published. Then click “update”.

Thanks for replying! I think that’s why I’m confused. I don’t have that option under general settings. All there is site title, tag line, language, visibility and related posts.

Are you logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog? That’s required.

UTC time is 2015-04-02 15:48:25 Local time is 2015-04-02 8:48:25

Choose a city in the same timezone as you.
