  2. Hi there,

I have typed modlook into the sidebar tags to get a staff reply. How do I get a staff reply? I have done this for you.

Please be patient and you will get a staff response soon.

  3. mwclassociation

Oh well thank you, I appreciate that a lot.

  4. You are using a retired theme that is not a responsive theme and themes are retired when they no longer support all features. The recommendation is to switch to a newer theme.

    re: switching themes
Themes are just "skins" on WordPress.COM hosted blogs.
Note that switching themes can be easily done, provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the site, you to

*Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog. wp-admin/themes.php

We have a preview function. No content is lost when switching themes on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. It does not matter if the site is private or public.

Provided you are logged in as Admin under the username account that registered the site go to and type in your key words, or the name of theme.

If you are not logged in under the correct WordPress.COM username account then clear your browser cache and cookies prior to logging into another account

If you did not register the site and do not have the required access you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it and have them either act, or transfer the site to your username account by using this process.

The theme customizer provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.

Ok so I found a new theme and switched it, but it's still not letting me save the titles?? Even when I preview it, it shows nothing.

  6. First read and act on all the tips here

    • Make sure you have both JavaScript and third party cookies enabled
    • Disable any adblocker browser add-ons.

    • Try using another browser.

If you are not successful please post this specific info here for Staff please:
    (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to
    (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary

  8. You're welcome and best wishes.

  9. Hi @mwclassociation, sorry this is giving you trouble. I can see it's not your theme since the posts themselves don't have titles.

Can you let me know what browser you're using? Also are you using the editor at ? Lastly, would you get a screenshot of the error and upload it to your media library, then update us here?

  10. mwclassociation

Actually I got it all figured out. I think my work computer was blocking me and not allowing me to do it because I was using internet explorer. Thanks everyone for the help!

  11. @mwclassociation current versions of Internet Explorer should still work, though. If you'd like to troubleshoot this further, let us know.
