To be clear Stats don't transfer from .com to .org?
-
Hi,
I recently transferred by site from .com to .org.I’ve lost four years of stats. All stats now reflect the start date of the new site.
Is this permanent? Four years of stats is a lot of history to loose when you are trying to sell using numbers of visitors.
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Stats can be merged. But ONLY if your permalink structure on your new site matches the structure on your previous WordPress.com site.
If they do, let me know and I can merge them for you.

I believe they are the same.
It would be best if you double checked.
Find one of your posts on your new site that also appears on your old WordPress.com site. If the URLs match exactly, stats can be merged.

So, as you can see, they aren’t the same. Meaning that your permalink structure is not the same between the two sites. So stats will sadly not transfer.
You can go back and set up your site again with a matching permalink structure, but that is kind of a pain. So you will have to decide if that is worth the trouble for you.

Here is a support document talking about permalinks on WordPress.org:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks
Matching means that you need to set (when you first set it up) your self-hosted WordPress.org blog so that the URLs for posts will match between your old WordPress.com site and your new site.
Does that make sense?
