Too many trackback links what should I do?

  • Dear WordPress folks:

I approved over 800 trackback links or comments to my Nutrientscure WordPress blog in October alone.

These comments and trackbacks have now turned a key nine page blog in a thirty plus page one. This is not good.

I am new to having so many trackbacks and comments, and I may have made a few mistakes.

Do I have to approve a trackback for it to work as a link on the other end (the site it is coming from)?

I don’t want all these trackbacks to show up on my blogs, but I do want my blogs to be spread around the Internet by other parties.

The two blogs getting the most attention on my http://nutrientscure.wordpress.com site are “Suppression of Great Truth Is the Norm It Seems” and “A Tribute to Bob Beck; A World Class Healer”. These blogs are in the beginning stages of going Viral on the net, or so it seems.

I sure want to handle the trackbacks on these blogs right, but I am uncertain as to what to do.

For example, many of the trackbacks on the Bob Beck blog come from the sex industry. Bob Beck found a workable cure for Aids in the 1990’s, and apparently the sex industry is passing this fact around. I don’t want to pass moral judgment and deny all these sex industry links to this blog, for Bob Beck’s curative wisdom in regard to Aids, cancer, etc. should become known by the world.

What should I do about “too many trackbacks”?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • You do not have to approve any trackbacks. If you need a guide to determine which to approve or not the this article Trackback and Pingback Spam: What to do? may be helpful.
