tracking blog readers

  1. There's got to be a more in depth way to track your readers instead of just seeing where they clicked from. Maybe by city or state? Can someone advise?

The blog I need help with is

  2. Use 3rd party services like sitemeter,, etc. may please you. Enter 'free+online+tracker' to Google search bar you'll be amazed!

  3. Three free real time tracking alternatives are found in this post
Three other tracking alternatives are found in this post

  4. It's good to know where your blog readers are coming from - politically, economically & socially. This would provide a guide as to why certain posts or subjects of yours are more popular than others. P21chong

  5. Use Quantcast then. It has demographics.

  6. I found one from feedjit but the only problem is I don't know where to insert the HTML in my blog.. can someone pls help?

  7. @raincoaster, thanks for the tip. Quantcast is great! WordPress is automatically quantified by them, so all the data is right there already. Learned a bit about the demographics for my blog...

  8. Thanks everyone, appreciate the help!

  9. @aliaazlam
You simply place the feedjit HTML code into a text widget and place it in your sidebar.
