Transfer domain to wordpress

  1. I want to add my domain to wordpress, to my blog (
    I am registered on, and when I type the DNS - NS1.WORDPRESS.COM (as master) and NS2.WORDPRESS.COM (as slave) and try to save it, there is a message that "Search is Refused". An IPv6 is asked to be completed. Could you please help me how I can solve this? Thanks!

  2. You need to have a zone record added for your domain name. I will flag this for the Staff as they monitor the forums while they are on a retreat making WordPress.COM even greater.

  7. So... I was trying to redirect my domain: to my blog, and I accidentaly purchase a mapping domain instead. It's possible anyone switch this setting?

  8. Domain mapping should redirect to the WordPress.COM blog of your choice.

    It can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.

  11. Yes, it is. First off staff will have to set a zone record for you. Once they have done that edith the DNS at your domain registrar and point it at, and then you can map that domain name to your site here after a few hours or so. The time will vary from a few hours to possibly 24. I'll tag this thread for staff attention so that they can get the zone record set for you.
