    Hi,

I just moved my blog to a self-hosted WordPress.org site and I’ve set up Jetpack and connected to WordPress.com. How can I transfer my followers? Is there any way to transfer site stat history?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is danielleisms.wordpress.com.

Subscribers yes – stats totals no

What is the domain name for your self hosted site?

I have flagged this for staff attention to help you

    Thanks. It’s danielleisms.com.

I’ve transferred all pages, posts, categories, tags, comments, etc. Is there anything else I’m forgetting?

Did you have danielleisms.com as a mapped domain before you moved? If you just purchased the domain name you should consider the domain forwarding to send traffic from the old site to the new site –

if you had danielleisms.com for a while then you should be OK – but put a note on the old site that you have moved – also set the old site to keep search engines out so you don’t get downgraded for duplicate content ( Dashboard >> Settings >> Privacy >> ) –

I see raincoaster in the forum maybe she will have some other suggestions

I have transferred your subscribers as requested.

Since the domain was mapped previously to your WordPress.com blog, all traffic should be automatically redirect. It looks like you’re good to go.

    How can I see/manage subscribers?

On danielleisms.wordpress.com it says “Join 357 other followers”. It says “Join 4 other subscribers” on danielleisms.com.

Ok, I found it. It appears that it was counting Facebook friends and Twitter followers on WordPress.com. Thanks for the help!

Hi, I have the same issues as well. Would y’all be willing to redirect my traffic? I’d like to move all my whollykao.wordpress.com followers to my new .org site.
My site is http://whollykao.com. I just moved to a self-hosted site, and had previously mapped the domain on wordpress.com before moving.

    thanks so much! –esther
