Trouble connecting to 3rd party services.

    My Klout and Empire Avenue accounts can not connect to WordPress. when I click the connect account button the WordPress site comes up and it shows my blogs but my main blog Off the Cuff! the favicon is a broken link and when I click connect it redirects me to my blog and says the page can not be found. This is a very irritating issue I would really like to get fixed. can someone please help?

    The blog I need help with is justmylifeinwords.com.

    This is WordPress.COM support and that site is not on our servers. To be clear we do not provide support for local installs of WordPress.ORG software, or for WordPress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to WordPress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites WordPress.COM account page.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.     justmylifeinwords.com is a WordPress.ORG software install on paid hosting, hosted by Dreamhost and we do not provide support for it at wordpress.COM as it is not on our servers.

    What is the URL of the site starting with http:// of the site that WordPress.COM actually hosts on our servers please?

    I guess where I’m confused is that Klout says it is having trouble connecting to my wordpress.com account and when I click connect the page that displays is wordpress.com. That leads me to believe it is an issue with something in my wordpress.com account. the site I am trying to connect is http://justmylifeinwords. It is connected with jetpack and I am able to see all posts and traffic stats in wordpress.com but the connection between Klout and wordpress.com is failing.

    Hi @bmtrnavsky, can you clarify whether you are trying to connect WordPress.com via the Klout interface, or whether you are doing something else? And if you’re doing something else, can you send a link to the page where you are trying to do it? It does sound like your question is more about your own installation, but if we can help you sort this out or at least get pointed in the right direction, we will.
