Trouble Renewing Domain

  1. Hello there,

I was hoping someone could help me. I want to renew my domain for my blog. I've gone to "My Upgrades" to renew my domain, but there is no "Renew" button to click. I know I'm almost 30 days outside of the expiration, but I didn't have the money at the time to renew.

    Please, help!

    Thank you in advance

The blog I need help with is

  2. Something is confusing as a whois shows your domain to have been renewed recently - but going to your blog shows expired

I have flagged this for the staff to sort it out for you

  3. Is there a way to get beyond the Oh No! Domain expired! overlay?

  4. Not that I can figure! Even if I use my regular free domain " - it still takes me there...

  5. It does not look like it now - I thought I got past an overlay a day or two back

Another not quite tested well "improvement"??

  6. Well I hope one of the staff comments. I thought this would be an easy fix. This will teach me to put it off next time!

  7. Please help, WordPress! I'm trying to give you money here!

    Hello there,
Did you know that there are pages of threads posted by blogger who posted long before you did? Thanks in advance for waiting patiently in line.

  9. I'm sure there are. And I wish that those threads solved my problem so I wouldn't have to post. Unfortunately I think this can only be solved by staff.

  10. You're quite right, but posting again won't help. Staff don't go by what is at the top of the page: they go by what was posted first. That's what they tackle first. The thread is flagged for staff, so all you can do is wait.

  11. or even look at other threads that are tagged with Expired Domain and which have already been answered by Staff.

But that won't answer the question how does a site visitor get past the expired domain overlay that appears.

  12. Sounds like a plan, Raincoaster. Commence waiting.

  13. Here's an article on the cosquences of not renewing a domain before it expires > Domain Name Expiration

  14. expired on June 18, and unfortunately is no longer available for renewal.

In this case, you'll have to wait for our registrar partner to return it to the public market.
