trouble with my primary footer widget area, should be to upper right.

My problem is, that usually, when I see my blogs homepage, the primary footer widget area, is usually at the top of the right side of my blogentries. But somehow, today, it came to show on the buttom of my site. Only on the frontpage though.
Others say, that it looks just as usual, meaning upper right, while I see it lower right… Why is that?
Also, for a very long time, it’s been as if someone took a bite off my site. Hard to explain, when your usual language is not english. But. Well it was like a rektankular space, just white. In a specific spot of my screen. If I scrolled down, that blank spot would follow down as well. I never got to check if it was only me seing it, or also the people visiting my blog. However, it was annoing to me. I’m comnpletely sure that is was not a pixel error on my screen, since it only happened when I was viewing my WordPress blog, and only on my own site….
Anyways, the first question, is a very current problem for me right now.
I do’nt know what happened, and how to get rid of it again.
I would like for it all to be upper right, just like I told it to be ;)

The blog I need help with is

The reason your sidebar has fallen and is displaying below your posts is either due to copying and pasting or it can also be a result of importing text containing invalid HTML. Typically this is caused by an open HTML tag.

Go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”

Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it, and then click “Update Post.” Check your blog and see if it is back to normal.

If you have been copying and pasting text from elsewhere without using either icon 5 or icon 6 in Row 2 of the visual editor, please see here so you know how to do this correctly in the future.

Thank you for answering this quick…

I tried what you told me to do. It does’nt work.

I found out however. That if I go to the bottom of the first page, of my blogs homepage, and press ‘older posts’ the footer comes back to the top.

So it is ONLY on the front page of my blog. I just do’nt get it. I promise, I did what you told me to. And it looks just right on every other page, or even if I just go to older posts, but as soon as I hit ‘home’ (aka hjem in danish/my site) it just skips right back to the buttom of my site.

Have you copied and pasted anything into a text widget? if so there could be invalid HTML in the widget. In any event I have flagged this thread for Staff attention.

@mariamiss6: Sidebar at the bottom is due to an unclosed or stray HTML tag in a post. First you check the option timethief suggested. Then you visit your blog and click on each post title to see which post causes the problem: in your case it’s “Foldegardin – DIY.” That’s the post you need to edit as timethief suggested.

Thank you guys/girls, I’ll go check it right away. I’m just sure that i Checked everything.

And I just supposed that the formerly recommended setting to enable, would just just fix it all for me ;)

I’ll go try it out however :)

By the way, it did happen after I put in some html, but it did’nt work, so I removed the entire widget again.

Thank you, that worked just perfect :)

I’m setting this thread as solved now :)

I just do’nt know where i went wrong, ’cause it does’nt look to me like the post is anything I did’nt mean for it to be ;)

Anyways, it’s just great that it works now :) Thank you again :)

    You’re welcome.

As I said above, that problem is always due to stray or unclosed HTML tags somewhere in a post. They don’t affect the post itself, they affect the rest of the content. Your post had these useless tags around the third image:

Plus this stray tag at the very end:

Okay then, thanks again, it’s great to have people who knows these things when I do’nt ;)

I’m not sure that I would have been able to detect that my self. HTML is all, well, code, to me ;)
