Truncate posts in Categories and Search automatically

    I would like to truncate my posts when people click on a category or do a search. I know about the ‘more’ button, but I don’t create my posts online, I use Windows Live Writer because I rarely have internet connection. To use the more button, I would have to prepare all my posts ahead, post them when I have internet connection, then open each post and edit it while online using the ‘more’ button. I simply don’t have the time to do this, plus I’d forget, and besides I like my home page posts to be full sized. I used to use a different theme, and it did this automatically, but now I’m using Sunspot (or is it sunset) and it doesn’t do it. If anyone can tell me how to do this in detail (step by step) I would appreciate it. My blog is: http://nomadfornature.wordpress.com/

    is there no-one out there that can help me with this. I know I’m losing readers because they have to scroll through long posts after they do a search or click on a category. Please help me !!!
