Trying to align embedded flash and an iframe

  1. I am trying to get the chat box to align with the video stream but it keeps appearing on the row below. I have tried a handful of things I found through searching but am having no luck. I' would really appreciate any input! I have settled for placing the chat beneath the flash window but would love to have it beside. I have been playing with column width and resizing the windows but with noluck.

    <div id="home-container">

    <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="378" width="620" style="float: left;" id="live_embed_player_flash" data="http://www.twitch.tv/widgets/live_embed_player.swf?channel=carnifex__" bgcolor="#000000"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="allowNetworking" value="all" /><param name="movie" value="http://www.twitch.tv/widgets/live_embed_player.swf" /><param name="flashvars" value="hostname=www.twitch.tv&channel=carnifex__&auto_play=true&start_volume=25" /></object><a href="http://www.twitch.tv/carnifex__" class="trk" style="padding:2px 0px 4px; display:block; width:345px; font-weight:normal; font-size:10px; text-decoration:underline; text-align:center;">Watch live video from carnifex__ on www.twitch.tv</a>

    <iframe frameborder="0" style="float: right;"scrolling="no" id="chat_embed" src="http://twitch.tv/chat/embed?channel=carnifex__&popout_chat=true" height="378" width="335"></iframe>

      </div><!--home container end-->

    I believe this is the relevant CSS

    #home-container{
     margin:0 auto;
     width: 1200px;
     padding: 15px 0px 25px 0px;
    }
