Trying to Export content.
I’m trying to keep a backup with the EXPORT FILE resource but I’m getting ERROR messages everytime I try.
I stopped trying “all content” and I’m trying only “posts”. But I get the following error:
No webpage was found for the web address: /wp-admin/export.php?download=true&content=posts&cat=0&post_author=0&post_start_date=0&post_end_date=0&post_status=0&page_author=0&page_start_date=0&page_end_date=0&page_status=0&submit=Download+Export+File
Error 6 (net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND): The file or directory could not be found.
Blog url: http://franmoreira.wordpress.com/
The blog I need help with is franmoreira.wordpress.com.
I’m flagging this for staff to look at. As it’s coming up to the weekend, please be patient.
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble exporting your blog. I was able to export your blog (franmoreria.wordpress.com) with the “All content” option.
Can you try clearing your browser cache first?
If that doesn’t change things, how about trying an alternate browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome?
i’m getting a similar problem. When i try to open the downloaded xml page via using the “export” function, the page only says this,
” XML Parsing Error: prefix not bound to a namespace
Line Number 56, Column 2: <atom:link rel=”search” type=”application/opensearchdescription+xml” href=”http://tntgal.wordpress.com/osd.xml” title=”WiN-abled Combo Investing vs. Problems + Help” />
Therefore, the xml file did not download properly, but i have no idea, why ??
