tumblr blog to be imported was mapped to a custom domain
-
I wanted to migrate my Tumblr blogs to WordPress using the import feature, but even though I removed the ‘custom domain’ setting a few days ago in the Tumblr settings, in WordPress it is still recognized as being mapped. I also removed the dns A record on my domains. What could be wrong? and what can I do to solve this?
The blogs involved are:
anthropomorphe.tumblr.com
public–parts.tumblr.com
blootgesteld.tumblr.com
to-be-explored.tumblr.com (might to have an additional problem)Hope you can help me,
regards,
Mio.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi MIlo –
There’s not any domain mapping set up on this account.
All of your upgrades and purchases will always be available to you via https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/
Can you try clearing your browser cache, reconnect Tumblr and WordPress.com accounts, then start the importer again on tobeexplored.home.blog

Same issue. The issue is not regarding mapping within WordPress, but Tumblr’s custom domain mapping being a blocker for import. I’ve also removed my custom domain on Tumblr, but still cannot import on WordPress.

Would one of you be willing to get a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
Also, can you reach out to Tumblr and see if they can fix the custom domain on their end?
