Turning off overlapping text on feature graphic …

I design graphics for my blog, but the Oxygen Theme displays the title of the post as a text overlay and it annoys the heck out of me. Any way to turn it off?

I really love this magazine style theme, and I understand why this might be useful for those who do not have a design background. However, I’d like the ability to toggle that feature on/off.

Appreciate any help from the community.

The blog I need help with is thepoetryofseeing.com.

    Hi there,

There isn’t a built in way to hide the title of your posts from the home page.

You could hide the titles with some custom CSS, however, the ability to add CSS is a custom design option that’s only available as part of the WordPress.com Premium or Business plan.

Alternatively, you could use our built in gallery feature in order to showcase your graphics on individual posts or pages. You may also consider having a browse through our theme repository for themes that are similar to Oxygen but showcase your posts in a preferable way.

Let me know how you decide to go ahead. I’ll be happy to help with any extra questions, also.
