    Is there any way to reduce the “white space” in this theme? there seems to be a big gap between the header and where the text starts. Any ideas?

    To fix just about all of your pages you will need to decrease the amount of top padding on the .hentry element. Something like this works pretty well:

    .singular.page .hentry {
    	padding-top: 0;
    }

    Some pages like your front page have no title. While the title value may be blank, the element is still present in the markup and it is styled to use padding. Basically this means that it injects extra, unnecessary whitespace into the page.

    Custom CSS can be used to remove the padding from the empty title. The following will remove it from the front page (and only the front page):

    body.page-id-69 .entry-title {
    	padding: 0;
    }

    Please let us know how this works for you.

    Thanks. Sorry I’m pretty new to CSS. Will I need to reproduce all of the code and change just those elements? thanks

    I don’t help with CSS editing but I do know this when you alter a theme‚Äôs stylesheet, you only need to put in the Editor the modification/additions to the CSS, not the entire thing.
