Twenty twelve: change colour of post title to orange

    Hi all,

    I want to change the colour of my post titles to orange. I have the CSS upgrade. Any help much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    The blog I need help with is

    I see you’ve changed the post titles on the main page (linked titles). This will change the post titles on the single post pages for you.

    .entry-title {
    color: #9D390A;

    Hi Richard,

    Thanks. I’ve implemented the change.

    My problem now is that I can’t work out how to change the post title colour on the home page. I want to make all the post titles a bright orange rather than the rusty orange they are now. I can find the hex colour to do it, I just can’t work out which command is controlling the post titles on the home page.

    All you have to do is do this in your custom CSS and then edit the obnoxious green color I used as an example. Just replace the .entry-title rule you now have with this one and edit the color.

    .entry-title, .entry-title a {
    color: #1aff00;

    You having a laff, huh? ;)

    OK, I did this but I don’t see a change.

    I changed to bright orange and it’s not showing up.

    Thank you.

    .entry-title, .entry-title a {
    color: #1aff00;

    @SGC, you are welcome and glad it is working for you now. Who knows why it didn’t the first time. The web is fickle… what can we say? :)

    Hi again,

    OK, it’s working now. I think I must have had one too many digits in the previous hex specification.

    Thank you. Love your work, Richard, and you too, dhermawan17.

    SGC x
