Unable to Upload New Images/Media

    For two days now I haven’t been able to upload any images to my site. The images seem to upload (the loading status bar moves all the way over) but when I look at my thumbnails, the new image is just grey and blank, as if it’s missing, and I can’t add it to my site.

    Could you please share the site URL/domain you are working on?

    Can you confirm that the images you are trying to upload are one of these types:

    .jpg/.jpeg
    .gif
    .png

    Then, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://whatbrowser.org/

    Also, Can you try force refreshing your page to see if that solves the issue? You can force refresh by hitting the keys below –

    – Windows: Ctrl + F5
    – Mac: Command + R
    – Linux: F5

    If that doesn’t work, please try clearing your browser cache. You can learn how to clear your specific browsers cache by following these steps –

    The site I’m working on is http://www.bumblebits.co/ and I am trying to upload .png files.

    I went through all of the above steps, but I’m still unable to load my photos…

    This is wordpress.COM support and that site is not on our servers. We do not provide support for local installs of wordpress.ORG software, or for wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page. However, about 30% of those who post here every day are posting to the wrong support forum and must be redirected to the correct support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
